Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 01
Arrival in Kunming
Airport welcome in the 'City of Eternal Spring', private transfer to your hotel for check-in and rest.
Day 02
Kunming → Dali
Morning at Zhuanxin Market and Kunming Old Street with its landmark Wine Cup Tower, then travel by private vehicle to Dali.
Day 03
Dali Ancient Town & Erhai Lake
Stroll Dali Ancient Town, pause for refreshments at the whitewashed 'Dali Santorini' viewpoint, then cycle the scenic S-Bend of Erhai Lake at Panxi.
Day 04
Dali → Lijiang
Visit Xizhou Ancient Town and experience the Bai people's Three-Course Tea ceremony. Continue to Lijiang — Black Dragon Pool, Zhongyi Market, then dinner and the lantern-lit night view of Lijiang Ancient Town.
Day 05
Jade Dragon Snow Mountain
Shuhe Ancient Town, then the snow-mountain sightseeing train and the Glacier Grand Cableway to the high viewing platform (admission guaranteed). Afternoon at Blue Moon Valley's turquoise lakes and the Ganhaizi alpine meadow.
Day 06
Lijiang → Shangri-La
Drive into the Tibetan highlands via the thundering Tiger Leaping Gorge. Evening in Dukezong Ancient Town with a traditional Tibetan Chieftain Feast.
Day 07
Shangri-La → Lijiang
Morning at the magnificent Ganden Sumtseling Monastery and the giant prayer flags, then Napa Lake with a Tibetan costume experience before returning to Lijiang.
Day 08
Lijiang → Lugu Lake
Journey to the pristine Lugu Lake, home of the Mosuo people. Evening 'Walking Marriage' feast and a lakeside Mosuo bonfire party.
Day 09
Lugu Lake → Kunming
Morning boat tour on Lugu Lake and a visit to a Mosuo family home with traditional lunch, then high-speed train from Lijiang back to Kunming.
Day 10
Departure from Kunming
Private transfer to Kunming Changshui International Airport for your departure.
