Day 01
Arrival in Urumqi
Airport welcome on arrival in Urumqi, private transfer to your hotel for check-in and rest.
Day 02
Urumqi → S21 Desert Highway → Altay
Drive north on the spectacular S21 Desert Highway, crossing the vast Gurbantunggut Desert landscapes to Altay.
Day 03
Altay → Ahe Highway → Hemu
Travel the breathtaking Ahe scenic mountain highway — one of Xinjiang's most beautiful drives — into the alpine village of Hemu.
Day 04
Hemu In-Depth → Kanas
A full morning exploring Hemu — wooden Tuvan cabins, morning mist over the river and hillside viewpoints — before continuing into the Kanas scenic area.
Day 05
Kanas In-Depth → Burqin
Deep exploration of Kanas Lake — Moon Bay, Dragon Bay and Shenxian (Fairy) Bay with alpine forest trails — then descend to Burqin for the night.
Day 06
Burqin → Ulungur Lake → Urumqi
Stop at the vast horizons of Ulungur Lake before the scenic return journey south to Urumqi.
Day 07
Departure from Urumqi
Private transfer to Urumqi airport for your departure.
