Arrival in Beijing

Tiananmen Square and the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, the magnificent Forbidden City, and historic Qianmen Street.
Day 03
Great Wall & Olympic Park
Walk the spectacular Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, then see the Bird's Nest and Water Cube at Olympic Park (exterior).
Day 04
Gardens, Universities & Temple of Heaven
The Summer Palace and the Old Summer Palace (Yuanmingyuan), a look at Tsinghua/Peking University campuses (exterior), and the Temple of Heaven.
Day 05
Beijing → Shanghai
Morning at leisure for shopping in Beijing, then travel to Shanghai and check in.
Day 06
Shanghai Icons
The Oriental Pearl TV Tower, the Shanghai Science & Technology Museum and the creative lanes of Tianzifang.
Day 07
Shanghai Your Way
Choose a guided Shanghai city walk — or a full day at Shanghai Disneyland and Zootopia (optional tickets).
Day 08
Shanghai → Guangzhou
Tongji University and the treasures of the Shanghai Museum before travelling south to Guangzhou.
Day 09
Guangzhou at Leisure
Check in and enjoy a free day to explore Cantonese China at your own pace.
Day 10
Lingnan Heritage
The ornate Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, the restored lanes of Yongqing Fang and Lychee Bay — with an optional Pearl River night cruise.
Day 11
Chimelong Safari Park
A full day at one of the world's greatest safari parks — a family favourite.
Day 12
Departure
Morning at leisure, then private transfer to the airport.
